If anyone needed proof that Karlsson is nowhere near 100% (not that you should have, after game 1), then you certainly saw it this game. I think the speed and the hits he's taken in the playoffs are starting to wear on him too much. Regardless, I thought the Sens played a more complete game this time around, and I personally thought Colin Greening had a great game.

Sweet hat trick by Crosby. Not a fan of his, but each goal was a thing of beauty.

Here's hoping the Sens can do better at home. (And also, thanks to the Pens fans for being courteous! NHL.com and tsn.ca boards are filled with some of the most ridiculous people out there)

Sens are just 2 players short of really competing, which could easily be Karlsson at 100% and the return of Spezza, which won't happen until the Sens are eliminated.

I think karlsson returned too early and it shows on him, by thrid period he was spent
as for spezza dont think he returns at all and if he does how productive can he be after major back surgery

Crosbys goals were for sure things of beauty, especially the 3rd, he waitied on anderson was screened

    Spezza is in for tomorrow.

Sens crawl on doubting, bleeding knees, slightly back into the series. They were very poor defensively. Slow to the puck in their own end, tripping over each other, employing the "I've Got It - You Take It" philosophy on many occasions with their own teammates.

Anderson kept them in it. They are extremely lucky to escape with that win. Chris Neil looks to have broken his collar-bone. Slammed into the boards while losing an edge. Have to wait for the injury report.

Cowen has to step up and hit somebody, he didn't hit anyone tonight, Mehtot on the other hand, had a great game and rocked several Pen's worlds.

Game 4 - Sergei Gonchar is the most pathetic Defensive Defenseman I have ever watched play since Brian Leetch.

I cannot believe he is from Russia. Since Communism collapsed, the Russians have forgotten Defensive Hockey in their Hockey approach,. Gonchar is a perfect example of this. If Russia was still Communist, Gonchar would have learned to play at least some defense.

Iginla hits the post and Gonchar just stands and watches it happen. He hits nobody, he covers nobody, he only looks for PowerPlay glory.

Sens score on their 1st shot on a short-handed breakaway by Michalek. Nice goal. Neal answers back a few minutes later with a quick shot off the face-off.

18 Seconds later, the Sens hard work on the fore-check and a bad rebound by Voukoun allows Turris to bury the back-hand into an empty net.

    2-1 Senators - 1st Intermission.
