Not a knock against Luongo at all, hard to say the #1 goalie in the last Olympics and possibly next years Olympics for Canada isnt good enough to be the Canucks #1 guy ...... but get SOMETHING to boost the roaster now .....

I agree. With the sedans and Louongo basically at the peak(or just past) now is a good time for them to go for it, Horvat will be good but waiting a few years for him to develop when nows the time for van don't make sense. They easily could have landed a later draft pick or more nhl ready prospect and a established roll player(s) or established NHLer.

Great pick for leafs, Federick Gauthier. 6 foot 5 210 lbs center outta the q. Good defensive skills for a forward. Huge upside for 21st pick.
