First look: 2012-13 Panini Flawless Basketball (which costs $1250 per pack)
http://www.beckett.com/news/2013/09/...ss-basketball/
There was small piece of information in Panini’s news yesterday. A previously unmentioned product was brought up when the card company announced it would have Damian Lillard autographs in the final products of 2012-13 collecting season.
Flawless?
What is that? It was the first time Panini has talked about this new product, which would be the 25th of the season from the NBA’s exclusive trading card partner.
Collectors don’t have to wonder about 2012-13 Flawless anymore as Panini released early information on the newest product on Thursday.
But it’s likely still to get collectors talking.
Each box will come with 10 cards that carry a $1,250 price tag. Yes, you read that right.
There are seven autographs, two jumbo memorabilia cards and one diamond- or emerald-embedded card in every pack. No card will be numbered to higher than 25 copies and collectors will be able to create just two base sets.
Flawless has a tentative release in early October.

With that kinda price tag even if a Jordan was guaranteed per box it'd be an insane price!

ehh not really, if you get a Jordan and a diamond it would be find and dandy. But IF it was guaranteed a Jordan per box it would be no fun trying to pull him.

Let's go with Jordan auto, emerald of dikembe, then you have 2 mems and 6 auto's left right? Jordan auto's are not exactly the super rare commodity they once were and the theoretical one per box would kill it further. But let's call it a 500 dollar Jordan. That leaves you 750 bucks between 2 mems and 6 auto's. That's still one hell of a gamble (which yes I know is the point of ultra high-end product). We'll have to wait and see what happens with it. I have at least 2 friends who'll rip some of it so I'll just sit back and enjoy the show.

I'm not saying it isn't a gamble, and your right. The Jordan's values would decrease ALOT

what... you don't think you will get 125 for that tom chambers card! how about that beautiful farried signature (if this product cost so much write your damn name!)
You are stupid if you buy this.
Shame on you Panini for catoring to the rich. make a product that has every player in the leauge in it and include only base cards and sell them for a quarter a pack so kids will love the hobby again.
