Your failure to grasp what is actually occurring is sad, not funny. Might want to check your FACTS.

Hell even your boy Obama isn't ignoring it.

Just curious. Since the only way to utilize the ACA is via the website and the website has been a disaster and only 50,000 people in the entire nation of 320 million have signed up for it...how can you even remotely see ACA/Obamacare as anything other than failing?
Even Diane Feinstein, who ALWAYS takes the extreme left position is now backing a bill that will hamstring Obamacare by allowing people to avoid ACA requirements and keep their current healthcare. Even the most liberal of Democrats are bailing on the ACA because they can see that the failure of the ACA is hurting their party. http://firstread.nbcnews.com/_news/2...lth-plans?lite
EDIT: I just read on MSNBC that 106k have singed up and I see shrewsbury linked to another article that says the same thing.Last edited by duane1969; 11-14-2013 at 10:42 AM.

More than 1 million cancellation notices have been sent to Californians as the Affordable Care Act begins allowing individuals to buy insurance through exchanges, Jones said. The federal law requires policies to offer minimum levels of coverage, forcing companies to terminate many existing plans.

a 106000 have signed up (which is still fuzzy math)
5,000,000 have had their policy canceled (that is policy number, not how many people are covered under the policy)

47x more people have lost their coverage than people have gained coverage.
What a complete joke.
Yet Habs is trying to spin it to discredit this, but you know what? He can't.

This is a scary reality. News agencies just report cancelled policies, not the number of persons who lost coverage. Since one of the arguments for Obamacare was that so many single people do not have coverage it is a logical conclusion that a large majority of policies are family policies, so those 5 million policies could easily mean 10-20 million actual people.

and when I said we should get a 1 year hold on the individual mandate, people thought I was being dumb.
now they will do this just to get to the next election and people will forget what is happening now.
if there was a senate or house election now, the dems would not do so good, they have made, perhaps, one of the most costly mistakes in American history.

SMH at the misinformation you guys post and feed off of each other. I truly thought some of you know better. Maybe its just a case of seeing what you want to.
Couple of things to consider; 1) the numbers you are posting are for the healthcare.gov website, not the individual state exchanges. 2) The people that are going to enroll are going to do so at a time that is most beneficial to them. They are not operating on the Dems or GOPs schedule. Look at Mass's enrollment for some perspective. 3) No one has lost their coverage because of the ACA. Getting a notice that your plan is being phased out and you are going to have to pick another one by Jan 1st is NOT losing your coverage.
Edit: Jay - most costly in what way?

the numbers you are posting are for the healthcare.gov website, not the individual state exchanges.
actually they are both, so get your facts straight
Edit: Jay - most costly in what way?
money and division of Americans

1. Uh the 106000 is the numbers the White House Posted yesteday. Only 26000 for healthcare.gov So the 106,000 is EVERYONE that signed up, state and federally.
2. Sure about that? They projected 500,000 by now. They are at 20% of that. And don't blame this on healtcare.gov either. State sites don't have the issues healthcare.gov have.
3. Says who? You? Bill Clinton and now many Democrat Senators believe otherwise. And All republcans/conservatives say otherwise.
But please, keep being misinformed on calling us misinformed.
This has failed. As many many many many many people said it would.
