First look: 2013-14 Ultimate Collection Hockey cards
http://www.beckett.com/news/2014/01/...-hockey-cards/
The Ultimate formula is simple from Upper Deck. Four cards, two hits, a Rookie Card and a base card.
It’s going to be back again in June when UD releases 2013-14 Ultimate Collection Hockey.
Each pack will have four cards with one autograph, one Rookie Card and an additional hit whereas each case will have four to five patch cards and one Autographed Ultimate RC numbered to 99 or less.
Some of the highlights include 1-of-1 NHL Shields with rookies as well, Ice Premiere Autograph Patches (numbered to 10), and Ultimate Signature Masterpieces.
Other hits include Dual Patch Autographs and Ultimate Rookie Duo Patches.
The autographed rookies will come in three tiers with numbering as low as 99.
The 1997 Legends Autograph set will come to a finish in 2013-14 Ultimate Collection.

The ICE Premier Patch Autos are BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those will be massive massive hits. These cards look fantastic too every single one of them.
I hope they didn't eliminate the RPA /25 though. Other than that looks good!Flickr: Hidden Content

Nice to see the Ice Premieres being brought back! And that Patrick Price or Carey Roy shield card mock-up gave me a good laugh!!

I don't think UD is trying to have a laugh here. Everything says carey price, yet the photo is of Roy? This is a company with no quality control. How do you mess up the sale ad?

It's pathetic. Some will say relax, it's simply a mock up. But in any business these kinds of lazy errors typically reflect a greater issue and as such renders concern. In this industry especially you'd think perfection to the point of slight OCD would be a priority.Last edited by wreckless; 01-31-2014 at 02:13 AM.

Massive injection of interest in the product on the basis of the return of the Ice Premieres Patches. Those babies are just monster cards.
Rest of it looks great.
Much ado about nothing (as always) on the mockup Price-Roy. LOLHabs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

Agreed! ANYTHING that faces the end user should be perfect. It only damages the brand when you release something that's either not finished (like a movie preview with bad, unfinished CGI) or a stupid, preventable error (did a baseball guy/gal put together that mock up? Expect Thibault to be pictured in the next one). This stuff matters precisely because it reflects the company's overall attitude towards quality and precision. Look at the MacKinnon's with the print defect...completely marred my enjoyment of Series I, which should have been the biggest thing since 05/06! Sloppy, sloppy work once again from UD.
