Just found this thread. Any updates? I'm doing something similar. I'm working on a HOF auto set. I built a checklist in Excel, and I've added columns to track HOF induction year, deceased date (morbid, but it lets me know how impossible a player will be to find), 50 greatest, 92 Dream Team, and a few others.

Good luck with your set. This is indeed a fun project. I'm not holding my breath for a Maravich to surface either.

The Russell is the latest one...kinda lost steam on the project, but once basketball season starts back up I'm sure it'll get going again!
