Bush had to be reminded that Canadians do not control US Customs and Immigration, and that in the end all but one member of al-Queda entered legally, and not via Niagara Falls.

He was then told that over 35 US based airlines had planes and US citizens resting, and waiting safely at Canadian airports across the country.

I think it ramped up with Bush and you'd be where you are regardless of Obama, but that's sort of the entire point; trying to lay blame.

Each president in the past twenty years has raised the bar on the "us versus them". In my opinion Obama has this behavior on Speed. This is terrible for America because it is almost certain that the next president, no matter the party, will continue this behavior.

The presidential behaviour of us vs them stems from the general public in 1945 being told that the United States won WW2, when nothing could be further from the truth. It all began there, and has only had a reprieve under Jimmy Carter.

If the education system of the USA was not so domestically entrenched, that would not happen.
