how does one acquire so many 1/1's from the same set??

I just looked it up, apparently Panini was selling them on their site but you could use Panini Rewards Points or something to get them. I suppose within the last week is when this happened and most of them were snagged up.

when did panini sell these? they look nice, just wish they would announce something like this for the public. or are these just for people with the rewards points?

These were redeemed with rewards points on the Panini site... There is still about 2/3 of the set available.

Gotta spend a good chunk of money with Panini to be able to get that many reward points to acquire all those at once. kind of ridiculous how much $ you'll make back off these. one card can get you just about two more boxes of panini stuff. Lucky. Jealous. Damn my paycheck to paycheck job

They are obviously a card shop ... no way they busted enough product to grab all of these. I remember my LCS would take various ITG redemption points and get cards. 20ish per box are pretty useless, but if you sell cases the points rack up very quickly

I am not a card shop, I purchased over 20,000 points on ebay and various card trading sites. Wouldn't have mattered if I was a card shop, these points replace hits in packs. It is not like they are a giveaway. Instead of getting an autograph you are supposed to get, you receive points instead.
