You didn't know Turks and Greeks don't generally get along?
You are at least aware of the British/French rivalry, as well as the other whole Muslim/Jew/Christian thing, right?

I find it interesting that the Germans dislike America at twice the rate of the French. I would have hypothesized the complete opporsite.

Other than Israel the entire Middle East is generally anti-American. Many of them don't know why, they just are. After Obama is finished screwing up this Israel/Palestine thing even Israel will hate us.

Just throwing this out there but Obama backing the Muslim Brotherhood guy they just threw out probably has something to do with it. Even though he was like the only American backing the guy we would bare the brunt of the negativity in a poll.
Germany wasn't too happy with the whole us spying on them either so that might account for their negative numbers being higher than you would expect.Selling All My Cards Here------>Hidden Content

There's a good bit of evidence out there that the Iranian people are turning around on their opinion of the US. There are a ton of people who believe the Iranian government's view that the US is responsible for most of the violence in the world (Significant amounts even think al-Qaeda is a US creation), but there's a still a major sentiment gap between the government of Iran and their people that has always existed. Most Iranians are far more concerned about their economy than they are of vilifying "the Great Satan".
