There's Brilliance & Enshriment Autos for me to chase..... but man alive, what's up with this one?
Signature Renditions Combos SRC-GRM Bill Ranford/Mark Messier/Wayne Gretzky - 1988 Stanley Cup Champs Oilers/Oilers/Oilers Auto-Auto-Auto 15
Surprised Ranford would get on a card regarding a Cup he didn't play a game for.... but I've got a feeling I know which picture they're using, and it should look really cool. Hope I can land this one.

Typical Upper Deck. More than 1/3 of the base cards are retired players, because we all know you cant find more than 60 players in the NHL worth making a card of! Who would possibly want a card of Patrice Bergeron, Duncan Keith, Jamie Benn, Joe Pavelski, or TJ Oshie when you can have yet another card of Dominic Hasek, Theo Fleury, or Vincent Damphousse? Four NHL teams have no base card of an active player, but have at least one of retired players, and two teams have more retired than active players. And thank god for those Dany Heatley (MIN), Thomas Vanek (NYI) and Jaro Halak (StL) cards. Hell, Vanek and Halak have both been on two different teams by the time the cards come out. I guess since you have so many retired players, they don't see the problem releasing a 13-14 set a month after the 14-15 season has started.

This really jumps our at me, Keith has 2 Norris trophies and is basically a HOF lock at this point. Benn is one of the best forwards in the league. Wonder how they come up with the base list.

Yeah some interesting choices to be sure... For the 'nucks we have Bure (retired), Luongo (traded more than half a year ago), Kesler (also traded) and Burrows (had the most miserable year of his career, injured umpteen times especially earlier in the season, score only 5 goals and didn't score his first goal till March). Not that I'm biased, the Sedins didn't have their best year either, I'm not really sure who deserved to be in the base set for us to be honest.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I was hoping Steen might have a nice auto in this product (I'm not holding much hope I land a triple sheild) but I'm happy about Sundin getting more cards this year.
