What a stupid comment. Do you have any idea what accountants do? We spend our entire career advising businesses in all sectors of how to forecast and budget. There is no occupation MORE QUALIFIED to discuss this topic.

Your comment regarding Part/full time workers doesn't discount what I said. It only speaks of another way to fulfill that NEED. Supporting what I said.

    Really?

You are full of it and you know it. Not only do you not know how a business runs, you have no idea on how we generate revenue and create new hires. Our accountant advises squat when it comes to forecasting, so I guess all accountants are experts in every industry in every region? And you are experts in economics?

Get real, accountants know nothing when it comes to how to run a company, and get new customers. You count what I make and what I spend.

I have a random question... if you have 75 hours worth of work to complete and only 2 days to complete it... is your tax burden going to prevent you from hiring people to complete the task?

    Yes, really!!!

I'm not going to argue about what MY JOB is to someone that has no clue.

And from what you posted, YOU HAVE NO CLUE!

As a managerial accountant I have run:

    a hotel
    a RV rental
    a tobacco shop
    a shoe store
    a retail mall
    a land development company
    a resort
    a trust
    a Condo Corp
    a restaurant
    an apartment complex
    a real estate company

No, I have no idea how to run a business, none at all.

    Oh, and a lumber yard

It was the same policies of George W Bush that sent us into the toilet only a few years ago. Reagan is far from the first person to have a de regulation / "free market" economic view... happened in the late 1800's with the social Darwinism movement (crashed of 1893)... happened in the 20's with Harding / Hoover (crash of 1929)... happened with Reagan (crash of 1987).. and again with Bush

Hmmm...you dislike Bush's tax policies huh? Then I assume you dislike Obama's tax policies as well since one of the first things Obama did regarding taxation was extend the Bush tax cuts.

lol really? Come on.. you're not that dumb. He "extended" them to get the stimulus passed.. then ended them a few years later. You can try to whitewash history but it still never looks good for conservative policies.

    1) No one "wants" to raise taxes on anyone.. we want a fair system that balances the burden of running country spread equally based on your personal income (IE a progressive tax system)

Incorrect. There are repeated instances of Democrats actively pursuing a Socialism-style taxation system that involves the wealthy paying more while the middle and lower classes pay less. Prior to Obama extending the Bush tax cuts in 2010 the Democrats presented an option that would extend middle class tax cuts but would restore old higher tax rates for those making over $250k.

    2) There is not a shred of evidence that tax burdens have EVER caused unemployment rates to rise.. only a bunch a hot air from the right. In fact... unemployment is dropping like a rock right now.

Republicans like to kick rocks when it comes to this stuff because they have a belief system that is just factually wrong. Conservative economics have ALWAYS historically failed.. and progressive economics have ALWAYS historically worked. This is not debatable.. its history.

It doesn't take evidence to figure out that employers with a higher tax burden will pass that along to either consumers or by reducing workforce. That is just basic common sense.

That is an illogical situation. Only an idiot would take a short term deadline job without having employees to do the work already.

Nothing illogical about that situation. You run into that all the time in the tourism industry.

Your "common sense" has no historical basis.. NONE

You clearly have never run a business with that response.
