Poll: Record numbers identify as liberal in the United States

The percentage of Americans who identify as liberal has reached a record high of 24 percent, according to Gallup polling.

The results of surveys released Friday show that last year had the highest percentage of self-described liberals since Gallup began polling on the question in 1992.

Still, conservatives and moderates continue to outnumber liberals. While unchanged from the previous year, 38 percent identify as conservative, and 34 percent identify as moderate.

It makes me wonder, what is their real end game? Do they want to be like the old USSR? Cuba? Maybe China? Do liberals think that their government is going to be so generous and like minded that everyone ends up equal?? Really?

- Welfare recipients are at an all time high.
- Illegal immigrants have been given a blank check.

Is it supposed to be a shocker that the population of people who need government handouts has increased simultaneously with the number of people who support increasing spending on social welfare programs by taxing the wealthy and working class?

I guess I should have read down before posting my question. When you say socialist what exactly do you mean? Do you use that term to say that you think all liberals want the government to control all of the wealth and distribute it out equally?

Back to the original question.........What is the liberal end game? By this I mean, what is a utopian liberal society look like, if liberals could have everything they want, everybody's money, talent, resources in one pool, what would you do with it??
