    Unique autograph opportunity today

    I was fortunate to accompany my wife on a trip today to see a motivational speaker that two of her students had recently performed a play on. It was Sara Jane "Salty" Sands of the former All American Girls Professional Baseball League. Salty lives about 30 minutes from our area. It really was a rare opportunity to speak with "Salty" about the way life was back then as a female ball player, and the way sports are today. I was able to get a ball signed and she provided everyone in attendance with a copy of her AAGPBL trading card, which she signed. DSC_0160.jpg
