I will go with my heart and pick the Bolts in 7, mostly because I enjoy their speed and offensive style/talent as opposed to the Rags somewhat boring defensive system. Yeah I know the low scoring games from the last series was exciting for a few games, but not every game!
Bishop will be the deciding factor as the experienced Lundqvist is certain to play well, so Bishop has to be close to his equal, which looks possible after his solid performance against the Habs.

Triplets line will be a huge factor in this series. Will they get to Lundqvist like they did to Price?

Well I know Stepan scored was it a nice goal though. 1-0 after 2 periods, one way to stop me from getting a heart attack just don't let me watch them.

I know Dominic Moore scored the game winner 1-0 series lead.

What is that, 8 consecutive 1 goal games! Wonder if Vegas gave odds for betting it would be 2-1...Again?

I'd put money on next one being a 1 goal game. lol
Nothing too big to gripe over this game. Kreider knocking the stick out of Bishop's hand on the 1st goal was pretty (phooey) but that's so heat of the moment, nothing is really expected to be done. Before people get down my throat about being anti-ranger again, Kerry Fraser and Dan Rosen of NHL.com pointed that out along with numerous NYR beat.
It's pretty clear what the refs (or at least, today's pair) view as a penalty or not though. If it's a good chance/scoring play, they'll call the hooks/interferences/trips. If it's not, it's let go. As long as they stay consistent, that'll be fine.
This series is going to 6, minimum. Too much skill on the Bolts side for them to roll over after just 1 game. Brian Boyle also stabilizes them defensively. Zuccarello's possible return may also help NYR offensively, though they were playing 1 goal games even with him in the line up, so we'll see.Last edited by the_nange; 05-16-2015 at 03:55 PM.

I didn't get to see the game from halfway into the second period so I can't comment on that part of the game, but from what I did see there was alot more open ice for the Rangers than in the Capitals series.
