ITG Ultimate and Superlative Vault question
OK, have been out of the loop for the most part during our high school season (coach, not player), and have a question. Concerning the ITG Ultimate and Superlative Vault cards, are these actual replacement cards from those issues that are being put on the market, or are they newly produced cards with designed like those previous issues?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I have actually pulled the trigger on a couple of Kurri just because I liked one and the other was one of the few cards from back then I didn't have. Any help appreciated.I collect: Kurri, '70s Kelloggs and Topps hockey(also OPC), football, and baseball cards, vintage stars and World Series subset cards.

There's a couple discussion threads out there about this very subject, but in short: they're old/replacement stock. These are not newly-printed cards. They're excess inventory that ITG under Brian Price had at the time of the company's sale to Leaf.

RGM81: I'm sorry, my apologies for the repeat topic. I should have searched a bit. Thanks for the info, that's what I figured and hoped for, but wanted some more clarity. Sure wish they didn't have the "Vault" logo, but still some nice stuff for player collectors.

Logo is a necessary thing - without it there would be no way to differentiate the original cards from these newly-released cards.
