Toews/Kane/Stamkos 1 goal combined....and people brag how great they are....getting legend status from being average...basically a Micheal Peca 2.0
NHL needs to blow it up and start over....

So it's all "what have you done for me lately" then is it? Who won the Conn Symth's for Chicago's last two Cup wins? Who scored a Cup-winning goal in OT to seal one of them? Having a quiet finals this year doesn't erase what Toews and Kane have done for the Hawks the last two times they were in this position.
if we're going to judge players based on the last thing they did for their teams then the HoF would be full of bums. What did Gretzky do his final season? Led a crappy Rangers team with 62 points, was a -23, and missed the playoffs. I guess he's a bum. What did Terry Sawchuk accomplish in LA and New York? I guess he's a bum too. We could go on forever.Last edited by Inferno; 06-14-2015 at 11:56 AM.

Brett Hull had only 1 point in his final season. What a "Michael Peca". $10 player, no more.

Lol at Kuba. Claims Chicago is out of it and Toews is a plug. Hawks win two straight and Toews has point in both games and shuts down Tampa.
Any other predictions before game 6?

There is something wrong with the game when a superstar isn't allowed to be a superstar.
Art Ross Trophy winner had 87 points this year.
Come on!

The players aren't average, they are as good or better than the guys putting up 130 points 20 years ago. The big difference is in the goalies. Ovechkin and Stamkps would score 80 goals against Darren Pang or any of the other mini goalies in the 80's. Can you imagine OV coming down the wing against this guy:

Here's what happens in the Finals - you try and shut down the other teams best players. You know who to watch, their habits, where they are going to go with the puck, and therefore the "lesser" players, have to step up against the "lesser" D-men. Go back through this season and look at how many times Toews bailed out his team with less than 2 minutes to go, or put in a GWG late or in OT. Patrick Kane wasn't even supposed to play the 1st 2 rounds, and still ripped it up in the playoffs. It's plain stupid that they play 3 great series but because they only have 3 points or whatever in the finals that they are "Michael Peca" players. Go watch Toews on the ice, and maybe you'll realize he brings a whole lot more than scoring. I think going into Game 5 he had one like 25 of 28 offensive zone faceoffs - guess what happens when you win faceoffs in the offensive zone? Scoring chances. Just because he isn't on the scoresheet doesn't mean he isn't making an impact for his team.
Can't stand the opinion of well they aren't scoring, so they suck this series. Get real
