In The Game has also made an effort to offer collectors more options when it comes to non-memorabilia inserts. New for 2006-07 are the Calder Cup Champions (featuring members of the Hershey Bears) and Class of 2006 sets which are available in Hobby boxes. The overall odds of finding an non-memorabilia insert card is 1:12 packs.

The 2006-07 edition of Heroes and Prospects will be available in both a Hobby version (featuring a gold box) as well as special Arena version (which features a silver box). Each Hobby box will include 24 packs with each pack containing five cards plus one decoy card or game-used memorabilia card. Hobby boxes will have autograph cards inserted 1:14 packs and memorabilia cards inserted 1:20. These odds are for the entire production run and are not guaranteed in any individual box.

This will be a 10 slot break hence pick 1 thru 10 snake draft style. Unlike most group breaks if you pick first for the first half of the case you will pick last in the second half of the case. One half of the break will have 7 packs while one will have it. Will determine that randomly. Hence you will get something good either way. While the middle picks would get to feast on a lot of nice mid range stuff before it picked over.

So divided between 10 slots, the break down for the 24 box case is $61. Shipping will be $6 to U.S. and $10 to Canada (will even include shipping internationally if folks out of North America wish to participate). So the final cost will be $67 or $71. I will put all pulls in soft sleeves, top loaders, snap cases, with them being secured in a team bag or a bubblemailers.

I want to offer this up as a fun site-wide low cost break. Better yet no one will get last pick in this break as we will be doing two cases with the draft order flipped.
