    what is the right thing to expect in this circumstance.

    (RGM81 note: spoke with OP and confirmed member is from another site and feedback is welcomed)

    recently i made a purchase 12-15 cards from another member.
    there were two cards key to the transaction. when they arrived one of the key cards was damaged. it had two creases between the glove and jersey windows.
    (BTP double memorabilia Tony Esposito)
    the item was in a one touch and the damage in my opinion due to the thickness of the holder was prior to being placed in the one touch.
    upon speaking to the member i get the impression he is okay with sending a damaged card without informing me of this damage prior to the deal. his attitude is kinda so whatish.
    i do wish to keep the rest of the cards.
    what do you guys think would be a mutually fair response to this dilemma ?

    thanx in advance

    You should if all is good still send it back and with a fair trade or a fairly compinsated if it arrived in a case not a penny saver then the damage was done before shipment and that kinda blows it happens hopefully the other party is straight up and all should work out good . Good luck just my 2 cents !

    Ask for fair replacement ..... or money back for that specific card

    If they refuse to co-operate .... go to a MOD

    Simple solution on this one - it is always the responsibility of the seller to disclose any condition issues with a card prior to selling. It would no doubt affect your desire to buy the card, and the price, etc.

    I would say that the best options are as follows:
    a) negotiate a partial refund based on the condition of the card that would see you keep it but at a reduced cost;
    b) return the card for the full refund based on the original price

    I would say a minimum 25% discount on the price under option a) would be appropriate.
