The subject matter here can be one that causes people to say things that are less than intelligent, so please be considerate of what you're posting. Police in Western New York are reportedly investigating Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane.
The star winger is the subject of a rape investigation in Hamburg, N.Y., according to a report by the Buffalo News.
A local woman has reportedly accused Kane of a sexual assault. Law enforcement sources told the publication that the woman went to a hospital where a rape kit was performed following an alleged incident last weekend.
No charges have been filed.
“We are aware of the police investigation and are following developments," NHL spokesman Frank Brown said Thursday.
Hamburg Police Chief Gregory G. Wickett and Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III declined further comment.

Bingo! Im guessing alcohol was probably involved too. There really is no way of knowing what actually happened. There have been a bunch of these things happen. I remember it happened to Big Ben Roethlisberger and like I said its impossible to know what actually happened in these cases.

Bummer, it is either true or someone is looking for a big payday...He said she said, how they prove one way or another I don't know, but all the same, Kane should avoid these type of situations, especially if drinking in a nite-club was involved...

Amazing how trouble just follows this guy around. But I guess he is innocent until proven guilty, right? I am sure he was complete gentleman...

Reading reports that there are many eye witness accounts and video of Kane being extremely drunk at a frat bar, that he tried to choke a young women who refused his advances, but she screamed and he got kicked out of the place. Doesn't mean he is guilty, but proves he is a drunken fool on the same day...has horrible judgement, is very immature still, and seems to have a drinking problem, among other issues...Doesn't look good for him.

Since he has yet to be charged with a crime, it is interesting that he got a lawyer this quickly.

Yikes. It's never good to hear about this type of behaviour - he's got a very bad reputation that precedes him. But the allegations involved here take that "drunk frat boy" stuff to a totally different level.

Not surprisingly the Blackhawks organization has been on total lockdown since word of this broke - you have to imagine that management and ownership have a very difficult decision to make in the coming days depending on whether or not he's charged.
