Gala Gawking: Panini America Delivers Peek at 2014-15 Gala Basketball Base, Mem Cards

Thanks to a series of tantalizing teasers posted here on The Knight’s Lance in the last month or so, you’ve likely seen enough of the brilliant on-card autographs coming to Panini America’s international-only 2014-15 Gala Basketball to have a good understanding of what to expect from that aspect of the product. But trust us when we tell you: The stuff you haven’t seen yet — primarily the base and memorabilia cards — is just as impressive as the stuff you have. Keep reading and you’ll see what we mean.

    Yep, Spectra meets Prestige.

Those "Double Feature" cards compete for the laziest cards to date. DMV photos, weak/outdated and flat out wrong use of patches :

Lebron (Red Heat swatch used not wine/burgundy Cavs)
Markieff (Marcus played for the Rockets 4 years ago NOT Markieff)
    Karl Malone (Wrong year/era)
    McDermott (Damaged/mis-cut)
