Anyone want to guess what happens with this package?
An eBay purchase I made back near the end of last month. I took the source city & zip out of the tracking info below. Seller shipped from IL, and it was in Customs' hands on August 4th. Now back to Chicago sort facility?
I have not yet contacted the seller.... I'm a pretty patient guy..... I'll drop him a line Monday (if it's still not here). Any guesses???

I know, a while back, the USPS was catching flak for recycling tracking numbers, re-using the same tracking number some time after the previous use. It was really messing up their tracking software.
Also - it is possible the package was missorted by the automated machinery. Are you in the 106##-109## zip code area, by chance? Zip codes for Puerto Rico are 006##-009##. Machine could have read the one as a zero. Isn't it wonderful what you can do when you replace people with machines?Hidden Content

It took 3 months from a card from the Chicago suburbs to reach its destination in the city, a mere hour away! After a couple emails and phone calls, I think everything worked out. USPS at its finest lol...
