I guess most of the time it makes him remember something he has had. He sees a commercial for McDonalds and he remembers playing in the playplace, making friends, eating old nuggets... He sees Chuck E Cheese and remembers playing there and winning prizes, etc... I dont think it is necessarily what is on tv that gets him but invoking memories

Too many commercials when watching a show puts me to sleep which in turn makes me miss some if not all of the show which I was watching ....commercials are a good sleep aid if nothing more. Nope, have yet to buy anything commercial base product.

Never has influenced my buying anything. Even commercials that are funny, half the time I don't even remember what they are trying to sell me.
I collect Brian Urlacher mostly but I am a Chicago fan of all sports.
All photos in my inventory are taken of actual card by me.
There will be no photos for base cards with the exception to some rookie cards.
All inventory items are open to trade.

Without a doubt, commercials, for the most part, influence everyone in some way. You may not buy all of the products that you've seen/heard commercials about, but you have been impacted by them in some way. If not, companies/businesses wouldn't continue to advertise. Even if we don't respond to everyone by buying the product, sometime they're just stored away in our minds and, in the future, it may help us determine what we do/don't buy/purchase. Have you noticed that many commercials, especially during the SUPER BOWL, actually have nothing to do with the products BUT they make us remember the product(s) name(s). And later on when we want/need such a product our mind remembers and leads us to such products. Without a doubt ADVERTISING plays with our minds, even though we don't think so. BIG BUSINESSES aren't going to SPEND HUGE AMOUNTS of $$$ if ADVERTISEMENTS don't have an affect on us.
Have a good night.

I know in a film class in high school they would show us how fast food chains input hidden messages. It was fun to see how it all works.

Basically never. I avoid television unless I am watching football.
