I was brought up as a Detroit fan until I decided to go my own way with the Maple Leafs but in that time Yzerman was hands down my favorite Red Wing so this addition is pretty much a "Dream card" of mine and I knew from the moment it was placed up for auction I was doing whatever it took to find it a permanent home where it belongs :)

I've seen this card around the web a few times when searching pictures of insane patches and thought to myself meh if this card ever became available I would let it pass no matter how bad I wanted it since the seller will clearly want 10x more than what a signature patch should go for but when I sent my offer and the seller countered with a price cheaper than what I paid for my Hossa signature patch I knew I was pulling the trigger :)
