I recently received this message in response to my thank-you email to Rick Mirer:

"Hello Dennis, Yours is the FiRST thank you I have seen since I have been assisting Coach Rick back in late Nov 2011. Cheers! Kevin" (Kevin Onesko)

I get a little annoyed that some people make it a point to post thank-you remarks "to" the person that sent them something. I just wonder if they ever take the time to simply send another e-mail to the person that filled their original request.

This is the second time that I've gotten a message like this. The other occurrence was when I sent a thank-you message to an MLB team for a Fan Pack and was essentially told the same thing.

If the shoe fits, perhaps you should save a little time on posting comments that never actually reach the person you're "thanking." Maybe you should make sure that the person who deserves your words of gratitude actually gets to read them.
