Now this stuff looks great! Not too much going on in these cards, focuses more on the Player and the Used. This is something I have been waiting for from Leaf. The less-noise-and-more-show-look these cards have fit more of my criteria than any previous release and I'm excited to get my vintage on.

I'm not usually a vintage collector, but the 2015 release was easily my favorite product of the year. I'm sure I'll be picking up a bunch of pieces this year, too.

Awesome that Leaf is starting to take on more of the ITG design with head / shoulder up shots.

I really hated the airbrushed design as im sure most of us did ..... its perfectly fine to not have a license but to basically promote you didnt have one with full body / upper torso just got to me =P

Yes it is great to see Leaf taking ideas from ITG's playbook with the head shots on the cards. I remember one release seeing an Airbrushed Yzerman and seeing the similar card with Sakic, but Sakic was on such an angle that you could see part of the Avalanche logo. It looked so much better than the airbrushed Yzerman. We all knew Leaf would have some trial and error fighting an uphill battle and I feel this years ITG Used is a small victory of many to come.

Maybe Leaf should come out with a 'Heads and Shoulders, Knees and Toes' release. A head/shoulder shot with jersey logo, piece of pants and then a picture of their skates at the bottom :D
