Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, who is expected to represent the United States in the Rio Olympics, was arrested for an alleged misdemeanor assault, ESPN reported on Monday.

The 26-year-old Green was detained on Sunday in East Lansing, Michigan where he played four seasons of college basketball for Michigan State, according to court documents obtained by the network.

According to the documents, Green was arrested on a misdemeanor assault and battery charge in the early morning hours on Sunday.

His impulsiveness continues to get him in trouble, now off-the-court.

Before, he used to save all his energy and emotion for firing up his teammates.
