Something that I have added to SCF is the ability to Sort/Filter out threads based on the following criteria

Sort by: Timeframe
Sort by: Other sorting types (last post time, number of views, thread ratings, etc)
Sort by: Prefix (on forums that use Prefixes)
Sort by: Ascending or Descending order

With the number of posts that SCF has and with changes coming to make SCF easier to use and find posts, this is going to help you out limit the results that you only want to see.
