too bad....evel was a great entertainer!! some of his stunts were flat out ridiculous!! the snake river canyon??? crazy!! not very well known to the current generation, but i know he drew huge ratings on wide world of sports and his other specials....truly one of a kind!!

Yeah the younger crowd probably don't know who he is.....I used to watch him just to see the crash which almost alway happened. man I'm getting old rest easy Evel!!!!!

That sucks! I used to have his play set as a kid. The motorcycle with the zip cord and the tour bus....I had it all!

I am 18 years old, and i actually know of him. My dad went out and watched his jump at snake river canyon. I grew up watching old reruns and things my dad recorded...I heard about him all the time.
