    Any video experts?

Any video experts out there? I'm looking for a program that I can record some tutorials that record my actions on my computer. For instance, if I used a microphone and showed someone SCF on my browser and walked through the site. The software must be able to record what I am doing on my computer and record my voice. Of course I would want to edit it as well. Here is an example of what I'm talking about.

    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LOmqW9ZNtIc&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LOmqW9ZNtIc&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

I know that most new webcams and video camcorders are distributed with some sort of video capture/editing software. If you have an older video camera you could buy a video capture card for your computer with the RCA (Red Yellow White) connections on the back. The card would also come with software. If you used the capture card (I do) you can import your captured video into windows movie maker for some good quick edits. Like most other technology, the quality of your product is usually indicated by how much you spend. There are a few video editing suites out there allthough the only one I can think of off the top of my head is the sony one.

Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects are (or were when I was in the biz) the industry standard for PC. They're kinda pricey but you might be able to find an older edition for cheap.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the info. I will check out Adobe and some alternatives. Maybe they will have a Xmas special!
