I didn't know Coach Tressel belonged to SCF!
Jim, shouldn't you be figuring out how to beat the SEC instead of trading cards?????

Beating the SEC isn't as important as trouncing Michigan EVERY SEASON. ;)

Sure it is. It's not a good season if you can beat Michigan and get trounced by an SEC team in a bowl game EVERY SEASON. Sure beating Michigan is good, but it's gotta hurt to get spanked year after year in the bowls.

Honestly, I'd rather just beat Michigan. I'd rather lose in the National Championship game every year than win the Outback Bowl. JMO. BTW, we did win the Fiesta 3 years ago, and a National Championship 5 years ago. We don't lose every year. ;)
Oh, and how's Michigan done lately in Bowls? Not too good. What was it? 3 Rose Bowl losses in 4 years? The other being a loss to Nebraska in the Alamo?

You sound like all my OSU friends. "We won the National Championship 5 years ago!" Just kidding around with you man. By far the best rivalry in all of sports.

I know, I got a ton of Michigan fans, I'm used to hearing it.
But you're right, BY FAR the best rivalry in all of sports. Can't beat OSU/Michigan!

Thats a tough one, but I think I would much rather win a new years day bowl than get trounced in the national title.
rchurchward: Whats all this Ive been hearing about RR destroying records, do you think this will affect recruiting?

Well, from a recent Yahoo! Sports article (http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news;_...v=ap&type=lgns), it appears as if "An investigation into missing files from Rodriguez's former office revealed the academic records of West Virginia football players are secure after a newspaper report raised questions about missing paperwork." The article goes on to quote Rodriguez as only getting rid of "personal papers, such as notes about players or his game plans." I don't think it'll harm recruiting at all. There is a lot that the media tends to blow up in the world and they tend to look for those with the most scrutiny at that point. I'm sure anyone in the entire state of West Virginia would believe those allegations, so why not write about it? But to answer your question, no I don't think it'll hurt recruiting at all.
