A dispute needs to be initiated. The staff needs to be able to identify new traders who are not following the rules they agreed to when they signed up.

The rule is that new members must send first. That's part of the agreement of the trade, and if it's violated, it is disputable. Also, if someone backs out of a trade that is already posted, that should be in dispute also.

Maybe the person did not know, especially if they are new to the site. Just point them to the rules page and mention it when you are posting the trade. I always mention it in the PMs when we are setting the trade up so the other person is aware.

I agree with you molly but they should read the rules they are their for a reason, Maybe you should have to read the rules before signing up on scf just a thought. That might help people understand what they need to do as far as trading or selling on scf. Pointing it out about the send first rule can cause them to not want to trade which is the same as not following the rules i think.

Yeah, you have a good point. Though I'm sure most people when they sign up for a site just check the box (think of all the contests you enter or sites, where the page to read is so long, so you just check the box. I do read or skim sometimes but many times I just go ahead and just check whatever box I have to check to sign up!).
Maybe we need more placement of the rules, a sticky in each trading forum with a link to the rules (like a must read before trading?). I bet some people just wander straight into the trading forums and don't look around much.

Maybe when signing up maybe their could be a spot that says you must send first until you reach 20 trades. If the box next to it is not checked your request to join will not go through.
