October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Personally, my mother is a two-time breast cancer survivor, so I'm grateful to the research that has progressed enough to assist with my mother's survival.
In order to get maximum exposure for Breast Cancer Charities, SCF has provided a nice avatar for members to select to help promote awareness. See my avatar for the example. The switch your avatar simple go to User CP and Edit Avatar to make the change.
We will be adding a Breast Cancer Charity to the list of 3 other charities for our October Fund Fund Raiser.
Let's see those avatars!Last edited by mikesilvia; 10-02-2008 at 04:21 AM.

We have all been touched by someone in our life that has experienced Cancer, either indirectly or directly. My father's partner of 13 years lost her 6 year battle with cancer a number of years back. She fought with every once of energy she had during the whole time. I wish no one to have to go through what this does to a person and their family.
We need a cure for cancer NOW!
On a lighter note, in my area i saw a car magnet that was in support of Breast cancer research. It simple said "Save the TA-TA's"

Got mine up, It's great to be a part of a group that helps others with more than their collections, but with their lives as well.
