    Those sketch cards are interesting and all, but many of them look too cartooney or comic book-ish for me. Heck! I saw better artwork in the "You Draw The Card" contest from 1998-99 UD Choice inserts.

    On Thursday I was able to add my 7th Gordie Howe 1/1 Masterpiece Sketch card to my collection. If anyone remembers, this is the Howe that was painted upside down, ebay item 310142952381. The seller was looking for $999 Buy now with a best offer option. Well, we worked out a deal after the auction was over for $250. By far more than I've paid for the other 6, but I'm in to deep now to not try and get all/most of them. With this new addition, which should be in hand within the week, I now total 22 Gordie 1/1s :)

    very interesting guys, and congrats boofish - i found it comical that he was offering it that much - especially after seeing it online multiple times and reading/revealing enough about them to this point in time to not warrant a repeat selling for a $grand!

    man i miss seeing these pop-up as often as they did in the past year... (although they didn't pop-up often at all, haha)

    that's a beautiful one, wonder if the market and price will be similar to where it was months ago...

    i still wish an o'ree or bossy would show up.
