RUMOR: Vince Carter to the Rockets

im a huge rockets fan and i just saw on espn where the rockets want to trade artest for carter...i think this is a good trade for the rockets...artest is an awesome defender, but his offense has been terrible all year, and vc is instant offense...plus vc and tmac are cousins, so that would hopefully create some good chemistry for the rockets...lmk what other think about this rumor...

Not sure what the benefit would be for this - this wouldn't propel the Rockets to the finals, and the Nets won't improve because of this. Both of these players are borderline "cancers" (don't care for that term, but I can't think of anything instead of it).

this is worse for the Rockets, Artest is by far a much BETTER defender than Carter

artest is one of the best defenders in the league, but last week, it was said that artest was feuding with yao and tmac...i think that it would be beneficial for the rockets to have carter, who would probably create more chemistry...i was checking out there stats and defense in the only thing that artest does better than carter...i was excited when houston picked up artest, but i will be more excited if the rockets pick up carter...

Yeah, this trade would be a good deal for the rockets. I think T-Mac and VC would have a nice chemistry together(they are cousins afterall) and they have played with each other before in Toronto I think...

It would be cool to have TMac and Carter on the same sideline again!!!! But I'd rather him stay in NJ for some reason. lol!!!!!

I read recently the Nets are likely to keep Carter.
