    Maybe:
    1. Bobby Orr 135 pts in 1 season!
    2. Big Bird Robinson (+/- +120)
    3. Ray Bourque
    4. Nicklas Lidstrom, not the flashy player, but he gets the job done.
    5. Borje Salming aka Scarface
    6. Paul Coffey perfect fit to the Oilers run & gun type of play
    7. Eddie Shore, he was so nasty that he nearly killed Ace Bailey à la Bertuzzi.
    8. Al MacInnis, his slap shot record stood til giant Chara broke it.
    9. Old Man Chelios
    10. Doug Harvey

So hard to pick 10 among those elite players.

I think Stevens is hard to rank because he was IMO the best shut down defenseman ever, yet to do so had to give up the opportunity to be great offensively, which he was for the first half of his career. All the other guys normally listed are more so remembered for the offensive contributions. Thats said, I'd put them like this:

    1. Orr
    2. Robinson
    3. Stevens
    4. Harvey
    5. Bourque
    6. Potvin (poor man's Bobby Orr)
    7. Leetch
    8. Eddie Shore (obviously never saw him play, but he's gotta be somewhere in the top 10)
    9. Lidstrom
    10. Red Kelly
