When it was around 9 years ago...
I came across Beggar at Subway station.
Beggar was a woman and it was late night.(around mid-night.)
At that time, I met my girl friend and went to home.
So I was in good mood.
Furthermore, she told me she need just money to buy ticket.
I gave 1,000 won(Korean Currency / around 1 USD) .
And time went...
Around 1 month after, I saw that woman beggar's begging at another place !!!
(It was daylight and just only 3 subway station from my home !!)
She told me she need only monet to buy subway ticket but why she was still at Subway station? =(
After that experience, I have never given money(even 1 cent) to Beggars.

This is horrible. Now people don't have trust to give money to beggars, even though some of them are actual homeless people.
On a side note, I really don't like the ones that cleans your windows.

there was a local guy here that a news crew shadowed as an investigative piece, and low and behold he had a nice house and car, but was begging as a "homeless" guy
