Once he starts fighting bigger name guys with more technique he won't stand a chance in my opinion. Fighting guys like it's a back yard brawl may find you some success but MMA fighting requires skill and technique.

I agree 100 percent. He's too old to learn everything. Look at guys like Couture and Cro Cop ... The sport is passing them up. These younger guys are training all over the mat, standup, BJJ, grappling ... There isn't one dominant art that works anymore.

Kimbo will end up getting hurt. He won't be around long.

However, I did notice that UFC signed Seth Petruzzeli to a contract, so at least there will be Kimbo-Seth II. Pretty much after that, Slice will be forgotten. Good riddance!

Ya I agree but still got to love um.
He hits hard and can take a punch I just think he gives up on him self to easy and has to many excuses but if he can stick around and win acouple and learn at the same time that would be cool never know.
black belt or not a hard punch in the face would hurt anyone.
Unless you know how to do face pushups with your lips lol

Is it just me or did Kimble not know what to do when he got taking down.
I think they need some better coaches not all there fault but a little more coaching would be good.I like the old Kimble better. There talking about him fighting next week thats crazy.Sounds like a rating thing to me.
Oh well better luck next time.

I think Kimbo's opponent, Roy "Big Country" Nelson, takes the show and wins the contract.

Roy's had nearly 20 pro fights and the last 10 of them have been in some big shows like Bodog, IFL, & Elite XC. He's also competed in the Abu Dhabi Grappling Championships... I really don't understand why they opted to bring him into the UFC through TUF. Maybe his personality I guess. Regardless, matching Kimbo up against Nelson of all fighters on the cast was the worst thing that could have happened for the UFC (minus the ratings boost of course).

Same goes for Wes Sims. Why is he on TUF? He's had nearly 40 fights and is a 3x UFC veteran. He might not have the best record in the world, but he's a real tough fight for anyone.

If Roy Nelson is the best of the show, that's not saying a heck of a lot. He's fast for a big dude, but beating Kimbo doesn't exactly mean a heck of a lot.
You know Kimbo will still end up fighting in the UFC most likely. But unless he get some more skills he's just going to be a sideshow.
