I got 2 successes in the mail today. The first one was Roger Staubach. Not only did he sign the card I sent him, but he personalized it too!! I had a feeling he would sign it, because the first sentence of the letter I wrote to him was thanking him for his service in Vietnam. The other success I got was Boyd Dowler. I asked him 2 questions in the letter and he answered both of them!! The questions were;
1. What was it like to play under Vince Lombardi?
and
2. Do you think that you’ll ever be inducted into the Pro Football HOF?
His answers were;
1. Coach was great to play for
-Good Teacher
-Great Discipline
-Smart
2. I have a outside chance to make the HOF.
Dowler also put a jersey number inscription (86).
