You know how on New Years Everyone takes resolutions that they never stick to? Well, this year, mine was to spend a little bit less on cards. Yeah...that didnt work...10 days in and i've bought a book of BBR, a box of SPX and a few singles...I'm on par for the worst resolution performance ever...

That being said, I have made my mind on my PC dilemma, from now on; I will only collect two goaltenders. I elected to go for Roy (let's face it I could never ever drop him) and....Brodeur. Why? Mainly because he has a proven track record and more importantly, as Scott reminded me; both of those are French-Canadian just like me and that has always had a special place in my collecting endeavours (the set Les Gardiens, My Battle of Quebec project etc..).

From now on, it feels weird to say it but my Carey Price collection is available. However, the only way I will trade Carey away is for some Roy or Brodeur goodies (Roy comes first though).

There, I did it! I made a decision and hopefully it should also save me some money! I failed miserably on buying less boxes but hey at least I am making a PC effort!

It wasn't easy giving up my Gaborik PC to pursue a different direction, but I am having more fun now than I was then. I'm sure you will too!

Tuff Stuff.

Congrads on what I think your decision was always going to be. I think you needed people to talk you into the Price choice. and I think most people new that your love was for Roy (duh lol ) and Brodeur (future all time wins leader).

I think it was the right choice and congrads on making it.

Price fans should just look at it as less competition

Dropping Price are you crazy ? lol Well, I would still hold onto the RC's of his you've collected..but the rest sure makes for some great tradebait that's for sure ! Best of luck with the Roy and Marty PC though !
