I'm Starting a New BoSox Conversation - "Buchholz a Bust?" If you are replying to this specific conversation, please leave "Buchholz a Bust" at the bottom of your message. Does anyone think that Clay Buchholz is a Bust? I mean, after his start on 8/10 against CWS, he falls to the stats of: 2-8, 6.32 ERA, 71 K's - allowing 89 hits and 11 HR's over his 14 games in 08. It's August, and this time last year, Buchholz was on top of the Blogs and Headlines everywhere! Anyone agree? Disagree? Where was the Bucky who threw Boston's 17th No-No less than a year ago?
Sweet I am in. This is very cool. Funny you mention the Buchholz thing. Man, I want to hope he is not a bust. I think the verdict is still out on him. He just looks so good sometimes. I guess we wait and see. Let's just keep up hope. "Buchholz a Bust"
I will bring this back in, what is happening to your Manny cards? And Bay? Do you collect him now or wait until his 'Red Sox' stuff come out.
Schwood, Funny you should mention. I actually AM getting rid of most of my Manny's, (except for one special one i'll keep for my pc). But just remember he'll be in the Hall someday, so one of your good cards may be worth $100 someday, or some high-end price. Make sure you're getting a good offer if selling/trading good Manny's. As for Bays, i will get one or two if at a good deal, but i'll probably get more of his Sox-Uniform cards too. Thanks!

Ok, so with a Victory for the BoSox, they now fall to only 4.0 GB the Rays. Yanks are now back to 9.0 GB the Rays. The BoSox, going into a 3-game match against the Rangers, have Papi, Youk, Lowell, and Drew for Hard-Hitting. To Backfire, Texas has Sluggers Josh Hamilton, Milton Bradley, and Michael Young. Who will get the fall in this series?
