My name is Kerry and I'm from Central PA. I collected card as a teenager, but got right back into the hobby hardcare when I got my first MMA card in the mail - a Donruss Ring Kings John McCarthy promo card. It's all history from there.

Eight of us so far! Not too bad, huh?

So what did everyone think of UFC 109?

I enjoyed the card. I was surprised by how much Sonnen controlled Marquardt. I like Swick, but I had the feeling he was doomed with Thiago last night. Still, I wish he would have won. Couture is tough as ever. Coleman needs to hang up the gloves.

Impressed with Phil Davis though. He looks like a cross between Dwight Howard and Gilbert Arenas. Tough though. I'm kind of biased though. I live near Penn State and that's where he was an all american.

Two weeks away from the next one.

Okay, 10 members and counting. I hope we're an active group.

I though maybe we could start by posting up some photos of their favorite mixed martial arts sportscards. I picked out my top three just to start. Maybe we can go to top five later on, but for right now, please post your three favorite cards in your collection, and why they are your favorites.

Group members, please comment on other members' gems. Nothing like swelling heads, right?

    Here we go ....

#3 - In person Chuck Liddell autograph -

At UFC 101 in Philadelphiain August 2009, I had the opportunity to have The Iceman sign this card for me after weigh-ins. My wife and I were in the first row, and Chuck made his way around to us. Luckily, I had his card out and a marker. Not a great sig, but awesome nonetheless.

I'm still attempting to put together a complete set of Round 1 autographs That day, I also got Bruce Buffer, Arianny Celeste and Dana White. The Liddell, though, was the biggest prize for me, thus proving its worth at #3.

    #2 - True Wanderlei Silva RC -

Got this 2006 Pride card in a trade that also include a sparkly Best Bout card featuring Silva. This thing is in perfect shape. I just love the colors of the card, the writing on it, and of course, Wanderlei's expression.

I had the opportunity to meet Silva at the UFC Fan Expo in Las Vegas in July 2009. I had my photo taken and he signed a promotional card. He seemed genuinely happy to be there. That's why this card ranks second on my favorite MMA card list.

#1 -MY FIRST MMA CARD -

This was the first mixed martial arts card I received. I was hooked. It's a John McCarthy Donruss Ring Kings insert promo card. It's not worth a whole lot of $$$$, but it is to me. I really like the look of the card. It shows his attitude.

That's why this card is number 1 on my list.

I got to go to 109 in person (Bday present from the wife!) and the fights were a blast! Undercard was a little boring, although the Davis kid from Penn State has a bright future. If he can develop his striking, he could be a real contender. Thiago looked good yet again, would like to see him fight another top guy at WW. Nice to see Serra get a win, dude hits hard! The main reason I went though was to see the legend Randy Couture in person and he didn't disappoint. His dirty boxing was lethal and he totally controlled Coleman, who is a great wrestler himself. It was so cool to hear the whole arena cheer "Randy, Randy" during the fight!

    Hope i did this right.

Hey everyone! Thought i'd post my favorite 3 XD

3rd is my IP auto of Jens Pulver on a round one card. This was given to me by an awesome youtuber by the name of SouthPark631. I sent him 2 of the pulver and 2 of the sherk so he kept one pair and got the other pair sighned to me personaly! This says "To Jeff, Your Next" haha

2nd is a Rampage auto that me and my lady pulled out of my first box of round 1 and she actually called the Rampage before the break! It was hilarious!

1st place has gotta be the GSP gear /599 i think. Pulled this one in the same box as the Rampage if my memory serves me correct ;)

I'm James from Bethlehem PA. I've collected sportscards my whole life and when Topps came out w/ the UFC cards I focused my current collecting to MMA. I had the whole Ring Kings auto set and broke some of that up. Now i'm trying to complete the round 2 auto set. I also have all the figures, rings, and belts that Jakks made for the UFC so far. I'd post pictures of my top 3 collectables but i'm waiting for one of them to be shipped to me right now.
