Looks like Detroit might be a threat next year. They picked up two quality guys in Big Smooth and Ben Gordan. Me collecting Villan a few years back might payoff now. Hahaha

As in a threat to....Atlanta for the 4 seed? If so, yea, I agree. But with these moves, it means Detroit won't be an actual championship contender for many years now.

I hope RIP gets traded for a Center so BG can be the starting SG. Keep Stuckey at PG, and Prince at SF. Then put in Charlie V at PF. Wow, the Pistons could be tough next year. Much props to the Pistons front office for signing these 2 great free agents. Wish we had people like that in the Phoenix Suns front office.

Wow...nice signings! This officially puts Detroit back in contender status IMO...a lineup of CV/Prince/Gordon/Stuckey is bound to make some noise...they don't have a true center, so that is an issue they need to address...maybe they can trade Rip for a starting center?
Also, comments are being said that the Pistons couldn't have Rip, Gordon and Stuckey rotate in the 2 guard spots - if they can't/don't want to trade Rip, couldn't they move Stuckey back to the bench? Or, split starts between Rip/Stuckey?
selby - looks like our trade isn't exactly what you wanted now, huh? Getting some cards of a guy you now opened a spot up on your hate list for...lol

Well you could bench Stuckey but Dumars really wants him to be the future and wants him to be the starter and get the expierence/confidence of leading the team, Rip simply makes to much to come off the bench 1/2 the time..
I think the Pistons are in a much better spot than last year, but not a contender yet, this team will be a year away i think from contending because it'll be completely new for these guys playing with each other

Well Gordon and Villanueva Both played together in college (or thats what i heard anyways lol) so those two have experience playing with eachother. As of the whole Pistons as a core, hopefully it works out. thanx

At least I can trade them still lol. I was 95% sure he was coming to Cleveland, he was leading us on pretty good on his Twitter.
