Leave it to UD to screw up a great idea and a Lebron auto :-)
Well, I have this one in the PC, managed to pick it up two years ago:

Bad centering, but once I got it I started to notice that every single one of these that closes on ebay is just as bad (Not just Lebron- ALL of the players pretty much). These are the only shoe autos they did, which makes me think this was a logisitical nightmare and UD jumped ship after one try.
Today this one closed on ebay:

Guy lost some money closing it early Monday morning, this one was about $30 cheaper than the last Lebron that sold so far I've seen four (could always have been the same card twice, I don't know) that have gone $390 (the ONLY centered one I saw), $215, and $185.
Anyway, just wondering if anyone else had any of these and there's were a poor quality control effort on UD's part as well.
Thanks!
Tyler

Nightmare for sure...such a sweet card yet, not.
Any significance to the /40 numbering?

Probably just ran out of shoe :-)
And being offcentered meant it was affordable- $400 for centered, $190 (before today) for off, I'll take it :-)

Hahaa, serious!
Bit off topic but along these same lines...
It still amazes me how companies screw up TONS of regular/star player gu/auto/patch cards but then un-proven rookies get perfectly placed 9 color/14 break quad patches.
It can be done they just choose not to.
