Tim --- you can't compare centers to forwards. Big difference b/t 6'11" and 7'6".
Shaq is slow compared to the swift Kobe, lolol
Yao's got very nice foot work, and good hands. Give him a couple more years.
I remember hearing Charles Barkley yapping his mouth about how Yao would be a big bust; it was only a month or so into the NBA season that Barkley apologized on TV, lolol.
Yao, if he can add more muscle, will do MAJOR damage, even with Shaq still in the league.

You can compare them, you can compare anybody, we can compare MJ to Yao if we want, if they were both were MVP canidates. Still hight means nothing there both power positions which are easily comparable.

i think amare deserves it.......he is more exciting and personally i would pay to see him play but not the big chinaman just because hes.....big....shawn bradley can slow him down so obviously his height is the reaon he is good......sure he has some great assists but no one is in his way to stop him

That is discrimination against tall people! Let's give it to both of them!

like Kobe said, to compare amare and yao is no brainer when you see how's amare turn the suns ball club
IMO, this will end up who bring the clun to playoff will win the ROY
To consider butler, he is just being the key to score pts in heat and heat even lose more than last year, so why he should be considered a ROY?
my 3 cents..
