older chrome and prizm cards that get the 'curve'
I understand that more recently, theyve made the cards better so they keep shape.
but the older cards.. I dont have many but I like them.
I got a couple in those 7.99 boxes you can get at target with random years of cards in them.
I put one in a penny and hard sleeve..but right now its making the hard cover bend a touch. if I stack that with others, will it destroy the other cards?
or will it flatten some? should I just chuck it?
:(

Sometimes I'm fearful of that too. I'll bust 90s boxes and be left with say a stack of 1999 Topps Chrome that looks like they've got scoliosis! For the "good" cards I'll try to put them in a relatively higher humidity environment (to make em a bit more pliable), penny sleeve them, then put them on the bottom of a ton of books for weeks on end in my basement. Those old Microsoft and CIsco certification books still come in handy.
For the other ones I'll put them in a 5000 count box with other cards. I haven't seen them "infect" other cards in there but I do make an effort to keep all similarly bent cards together. If I get too paranoid I'll bracket the stacks with top loaders.

This is weird since I have a ton of 1998 and 1999 Topps Chrome and I've never had this issue. Bought them back in 98/99 and have never had this problem but I have seen it with newer Topps Chrome releases especially in baseball.

I put them 2 in a sleeve facing each other, then in a hard sleeve, that usually keeps the bends down but not always
