Surprised it took so long, honestly. Freddy seems like a nice guy, but he's not great with things like tactics (in-game substitutions and the like), and reports have indicated in the past that he's been afraid to be tough on players when it would be preferable. I think the NBA environment is too complex and intense for him, especially a tough team and market like Chicago. He did better coaching college.

Yeah this move needed to happen. That Bulls team has talent and unless you were just going to waste this season and go for a high draft pick it made no sense to keep Hoiberg. He was just a very poor fit for this team.

Bulls lost by a record 56 tonight to the Celtics. Boylen took out all five starters twice:

The Suns are probably saving the Bulls a lot of embarrassment right now. Giving them cover and another buddy to hang out with in the basement of the NBA. The Bulls probably have more talent and play in a weaker conference though.
