    See rentalmom's Items on eBay

Has anyone bought any 2004 donruss classics?

I thought about getting some and I was wondering if it was really worth the price to get a box or case of it.

    PLMK your thoughts.

yeah, but will the values of the cards drop like the 04 DK did due to overproduction of low # cards?

i dont think they will, b/c the dk had a g/u card for i think every base player, and it isnt like that in the classics, all the base players have auto's in the set *i think*, and in the classics they dont have the bronze, silver, gold, platinum, sepia, framed, all that bs lol

so would it be worth shelling out some real $$ to get a case in your opinion?

I am asking because I had a local card shop owner ask me if I heard anything about it yet and I said no, but I would ask around.

It seems the Ruth/Gehrig/Ripken SP GU cards are selling well, but everything else seems to not be selling.

Is it worth spending over $1100 on a case in your opinion?

no, definetly not b/c i saw here on the forum the other night where someone had pulled the babe ruth and lou gehrig 1 of 1's, and another person had bought a case and pulled 6 al kaline's numbered to 25 (that is ok, but what if its a bad player?), and the diamond king's splurge of g/u will probably hurt the bv of other donruss products that come out despite the odds, and like iggy said the inserts aren't going to be worth a flip b/c u get one in almost every pack

    hope this helps you
