    All Star Voting

    Check this out..........
As 2003 All-Star balloting rolls into its final week,
there are still a number of races that are way too close
to call. In the National League for instance, only a few
hundred votes separate Colorado's Todd Helton and Houston's
Jeff Bagwell at first base in a race likely to go to the
wire. There are also extremely tight races at second
    base, shortstop and catcher.

    NL FIRST BASE
    Helton 379,713
    Bagwell 379,499
    Thome 294,904

    NL SECOND BASE
    Giles 418,742
    Kent 384,329
    Boone 259,483

    NL SHORTSTOP
    Furcal 526,630
    Renteria 483,765
    Aurilia 235,480

    NL CATCHER
    Lopez 410,630
    Rodriguez 395,927
    Piazza 282,226

    NL OUTFIELD
    Bonds 744,095
    Sosa 565,590
    Sheffield 565,177
    Pujols 486,197
    Jones, A. 460,253
    Guerrero 356,677

    AL UPDATE
Heated contests also exist in the American League, where
Troy Glaus and Eric Chavez are battling it out at third
    base.

    Glaus 408,739
    Chavez 314,081

How much closer can it get for Helton and Bagwell... Its gonna be a good race to watch I think...

That is great that Helton caught Bagwell! The Rockies and Astros are my two favorite teams, so either way :D

I'm going to give my 25 votes to Juan Gonzalez to play on the American League team with his Expo uniform.

Glaus will be at the All Star game

So will Garret Anderson and Tim Salmon

Remember, Scioscia gets to be the manager, and it's his tun to do the Joe Torre thing and bring all the Angels to the All Star game
