Sending out Jersey to get signed

I will be sending out a Jersey to get autographed. How should I send it out? I have sent letters TTM but never a package. Should I use UPS or USPS? How much do you think it will cost to ship?

A Jersey? I hope you are a millions times sure you will get it back. I've sent baseballs out and not gotten a few back. Those are about $15 a piece.
I would get delivery conformation, insurance, etc. I'm not sure if you could get that for the return though. You may want to ask the people at your Post office how that would work.
    Good Luck!!!
