Bummer man. I usually don't get lucky with those types of successes. Willie Brown and Blaine Gabbert are the only two I got that I can think of that most other people can't/couldn't.
Thanks dude.

Haha yeah, I failed with both of them. Just part of the game, I guess!

Got stuck in that transition where I had almost everything I'd sent recently come back pretty quick and didn't get new stuff out right away, so this coming week should be pretty good to me.
Did get two today though.
Mercury Morris, 1/1. Always thought Merc had a great sig, looks sick on the Legends.

Carroll Dale, 2/2.

Dunno what it is, but the Packers definitely have the nicest players (young and old) and are some of the best signers.

Few today..
Pat Summerall, 2/2.

Gary Collins, 1/1. Sometimes he won't return items, or will return unsigned with notes saying "people are in it for the money." so I reassured him in my letter and wrote "FOR THE PERSONAL COLLECTION OF TONY ____" on the back of the custom and evidently that was good enough so he signed my card. He was a pretty good player in his day (60's Decade Team).. Funny that his numbers are on par with Lynn Swann and Collins was better, and also punted yet most people would scoff at the idea of Collins in the Hall. Not sure why the color is weird, they're the same as the others. My scanner is really something sometimes.

Bobby Boyd, 2/2. Another 60's All-Decade team member. His career is VERY underrated.. He's right up there near the Top 10 of all time INT leaders.
Does this IC count as two autos?
And probably my favorite from today.
Matt Snell, 2/2. Signed 8x10, and SB Supermen. That blur is me blurring out my last name, btw. Thanks for the photo, coclarkson. I love all the inscriptions. Definitely putting this in a frame.

That's another awesome day! How many members of the 50's and 60's All-Decade Teams do you have?

Thanks, I have quite a few. There's some guys that died in the 80's/90's, and then some HOF'ers I haven't gotten around to getting yet (mainly the QB's, RB's, & WR's). Don't have a count but I've been/and am sending to most of the 50's/60's/70s ADT guys that I can.
Thanks dude. Yeah, the 8x10 looks great. Having my last name on it looks odd, but I still love it.

One today.
Jim Cason, 2/2. Spent 7 years with the 9ers, and 2 with the Rams; and went a couple Pro-Bowls. I thought this was a 9ers card when I was rushing through my shopping on SportLots, but it's not and I sent it anyways. He wrote me a note on one side of my index card, and also signed the other side of it as well. Super nice guy.
